The Charitable Venetian Foundation

Over the past few years, The Venetian Team has been tirelessly working to transform the field of hospitality to meet better, changed economic realities and client/consumer demand such as competitive pricing. Along the way, The Venetian Team, has also done some soul-searching about its philanthropic role in the communities it serves and how best to make a difference. The result was the creation of a new registered charity in Ontario, “The Charitable Venetian Foundation”. As a registered charitable foundation, its sole objective is to receive and maintain a fund and apply the principal and income to other charitable organizations that are also registered charities under The Income Tax Act (Canada). What this means is that we are busy throughout the year organizing special events with proceeds directed to The Charitable Venetian Foundation which are in turn, applied to various worthy charities. Although there are numerous laudable charities, the primary focus of our charity is the health and well-being of children. As such, The Charitable Venetian Foundation is committed to supporting those organizations in Ontario and across Canada that directly help children. Children are after all, the adornment of life and our future. To-date, The Charitable Venetian Foundation has supported among other charities, North York General Hospital Foundation and The Shining Through Foundation.
